Translating your website doesn't have to be an overwhelming experience. By using Bablic on Duda, you can ensure a smooth transition. All you need to do is follow a few, easy steps to get started.
1 - Install the Plugin
To begin, install the Bablic plugin from Duda's app store. Once it is successfully downloaded, you will be asked to choose between a trial or a paid plan and begin the translation process using the visual editor.
2 - Choose a Plan
Bablic offers a 14-day free trial that gives you full access to all features. Once the trial ends, you can choose from one of our three subscription tiers: Basic, Plus, or Pro. Each plan offers unique features tailored to fit your needs.
Although charged at a special rate for Duda websites, the plans have a correspondence with the standard Bablic plans available here - you can check the full list of features in our pricing page.
3 - Start Translation Process
To begin translating, click the "Translate" button.
Right-click on any text to make edits.
Once you're done, click "Publish" to launch the translations live on your site.
For more detailed guidance on using Bablic's visual editor, check out this helpful guide. To learn more on how you can add more languages check this tutorial.
4 - Re-publish your website in Duda
After adding the Bablic app, the Duda platform will. If you do not do this, the Bablic snippet may not be added to the website's code.
Things to Be Aware of When Integrating Duda with Bablic
1 - To try out Bablic: sign up for our free 14-day trial. You'll need your Duda subscription too. Once you're set up, you can start translating right away
2 - Publish Your Site: Your Duda website must be published and live on the internet for the Bablic translations to take effect. Unpublished sites or those in draft mode will not display the translated content.
3 - Unified Language Content: For Bablic to work its magic, your original site content should be in one language only. This means if your site is in English and you want to offer Spanish, all the original content must be in English only, not a mix of both. Bablic will handle the translation from one single language to another.
