Adding a new language to your website through Bablic is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure your visitors can view your site in their preferred language, along with customizing language settings. Here's how:

Step 1: Adding a New Language

Go to your Bablic Dashboard in your Language tab and,

Click on > Add Language

A menu will pop up, allowing you to select the desired language from a dropdown list. After selecting the language, click "Go" to proceed.

Step 2: Configure Translation Settings

You now need to configure how translations are handled:

  • Automatic Translation: By default, translations are performed on-demand, meaning the content is translated only when requested by a user.

  • Translate Automatically: Select this option if you want Bablic to automatically translate all content.

  • Manual Translation: Choose this if you prefer manual translation over machine translation. This means no automatic translations will be performed, and all translations must be entered manually.

Step 3: Publishing Your Language

By default, newly added languages are not immediately live on your website. This gives you the flexibility to finalize translations before making them visible to your visitors.

  • To make the language live, switch from "Off" to "Live." If you're not ready to publish, you can keep it "Off" and only set it to "Live" once you're satisfied with the translations.

Step 4: Configuring Additional Language Customizations

For more tailored language settings, such as adjusting the font or setting up right-to-left text orientation, you can:

  • Click on the three dots next to the "Publish" button in your Bablic Dashboard.

  • Select the customization options as needed to ensure your site looks and functions correctly for each language.

Adding Languages via the Visual Editor

Alternatively, you can add a language directly while editing your site:

  1. Open the Visual Editor on your Bablic Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to "Options" and select "Add Language."

  3. Follow the same instructions provided to add and configure your new language.

Step 5: All done!

By following these steps, you'll be able to enrich your site with multi-language support, ensuring a seamless experience for all your visitors, regardless of their preferred language.
