One of Bablic's most appreciated feature is the ability to detect new content as soon as it appears on your website, so that it can be translated as soon as possible without leaving untranslated text on your website.

In order to do this, Bablic uses three different methods to detect content from the pages:

1 . Website crawler

Bablic is equipped with a crawler that scans your website at regular intervals, and detects any new content that has not been translated yet. The crawler does not have the ability to see content in pages that are password-protected, so in order to detect and translate content in these pages you will need to use one of the following two methods.

2 . Visual Editor

Whenever you open a page within Bablic's Visual Editor, the entire content of the page is scanned and indexed for translation purposes. Through this method you can access content in every page, including password-protected ones, so you can translate it and manage it regularly. In order to access protected pages via the Visual Editor, you will have to open your website within the Visual Editor, login manually to your site, and then navigate to the protected pages you would like to translate or review.

3 . Snippet (optional)

Once you have added Bablic's snippet to your site (or have activated the Bablic Plugin) Bablic has the ability to see and collect the content of a given page whenever it's opened by a regular visitor. This means that when visitors login and visit one of your password-protected pages, Bablic can collect the content of that page.

Please note: this option is disabled by default and may be turned on manually from the Settings panel.

Activating this option is the best way to make sure Bablic detects and collects all content on your site and that there are no missing texts that are not translated. That said, it also means that Bablic can detect and collect personal information from customers if it appears on the page. If you would like to prevent that from happening please make sure you disable this option from the Settings panel.

IMPORTANT: Regardless of what method is used to detect text, Bablic will never record content that is typed manually by the user. That includes forms, passwords, chats, messages and more.
